Sometimes it begins with a song lyric. Sometimes it’s a flower blooming in the yard, a conversation, a memory, or a moment that refuses to let go.
A Subtle Reframe is my way of sharing those moments with collectors and readers who enjoy slowing down and paying attention.

From the Studio Letter
“I’m finding my footing here at home again, but I feel a little lost.
It’s funny because when I was on that farm, I found direction. Literal direction.
In 47 years on this planet, I never could have told you which way was north. I used to joke I couldn’t tell you west if the sun were setting.
But out in those fields it seemed to matter, and somewhere along the way I found my direction. I still have it. I can tell you that right now, as I write this, I’m facing east.
How does that translate into anything real?
Why do I feel lost and directionless when I know my direction for the first time in my life?”
